Statutory Training Curriculum Breakdown

Under Maharashtra PSARA Rules, civilian recruits must undergo a total of 160 hours of comprehensive training (minimum 20 training days):

• Classroom Instruction (100 Hours): Physical security concepts, fire safety and firefighting, emergency evacuation protocols, crowd control, handling security equipment (DFMD, HHMD, X-ray scanners), legal powers of private citizens, and basic first aid.
• Field Drill & Practical Training (60 Hours): March past, unarmed combat defense tactics, physical fitness drills, and mock crisis response scenarios.
• Ex-Servicemen & Police Personnel Exemption: Retired armed forces personnel, paramilitary veterans, and ex-police officers are granted a relaxed curriculum of 40 hours (16 hours classroom and 24 hours field training).
