To eliminate manual submissions and physical challans at bank branches, the Maharashtra Labour Welfare Board operates an integrated electronic portal at public.mlwb.in (and through Mahakamgar). Every newly established company or firm in Pune must create an authenticated employer profile and obtain their permanent MLWF Establishment Code.

Portal Registration Steps

1. Access public.mlwb.in and click on New Employer Registration.
2. Input enterprise details, PAN, GSTIN, and Labor Identification Number (LIN) or Shop Act Registration number.
3. Provide registered office address in Pune, authorized contact details, and banking credentials.
4. Upload scanned copies of the Shop Act Gumasta license and PAN card.
5. Submit to receive the MLWB Registration Certificate and user login credentials.
